Rage Expo 2018
Rage Expo 2018 came with a big bang. As always, there was loads to see, loads to try out that I hope will make a friendly return for Rage 2019. Here are some of the game highlights that got my attention the most during Rage Expo.
What was your favourites? What you think of Xbox’s Fortnite stand? Are you excited for The Division 2 as I am?
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
After some mixed feelings towards Call of Duty Black Ops 4, the short but sweet Multiplayer session has proved why COD’s fast paced shooter action is addictive as ever. With crisp visuals and easy to master controls, I cannot wait to sink my teeth into this one.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
The Greek setting for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is incredibly beautiful. A map even bigger than the previous game, it will be an adventure on its own to explore the vast playground bestowed upon you.
The Division 2
After the events in New York, the fight to keep order continues in Washington. The tight controls, meaty weapons and more combat options you can shake a stick at, The Division 2 is going to be the go to squad shooter.
Forza Horizon 4
Even though Forza Horizon 4 is already out, it is easy to see why it is a crowd pleaser. With a Maclaren taking center stage. Having both options of Controller or Steering Wheel to try the game at the stand, Forza Horizon 4 will be at the top of a lot of fans lists’. Once again, Forza is the game that bring beginners and hardcore racers together for tons of fun.
Starlink: Battle for Atlas
My biggest surprise came from Starlink. Working on the same concept as Skylanders, but instead of replacing a whole character, you change parts on a space fighter craft. You can change your weapon load-out on the fly(no pun intended) for the mission at hand. Bright visuals light up your screen like festival fireworks. Starlink is definitely on wishlist.
Well there you have it, my top highlights…highlight. I can’t wait to get my hands on these games as they stood out for me the most. The countdown for Rage 2019 has begun and the excitement is building up. See you all there next year.
